A volunteer of the Ukrainian Red Cross is a member of a large friendly team that has been helping and supporting those in difficulty for more than a hundred years.

A volunteer is a person who voluntarily and free of charge joins various charitable, civic or social initiatives. This can be activities in public organizations and community projects or at events aimed at protecting and helping those in need.

Volunteers can perform both physical and intellectual useful work.

Volunteer activities are based on the principles of legality, humanity, equality, voluntariness, gratuitousness, and non-profitability.

Anyone can join volunteering, regardless of gender, age, place of residence, etc. However, according to Ukrainian law, you can volunteer from the age of 14 (with written permission from your parents or legal representatives), and in some areas - only from 18.

The Ukrainian Red Cross Society does its best to help everyone who wants to become a volunteer.
