Informing the population about the risks associated with explosive objects is one of the priority and most important areas of humanitarian activity of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine.
Volunteers-instructors of the Kyiv regional organization of the TCHHU are actively holding information sessions on mine danger for the residents of Bilotserkiv district.
Corresponding thematic classes were held in Tetiiv for students of Tetiiv Lyceum No. 2, in the village of Salivonki for students of Salivonkiv Gymnasium and participants of the All-Ukrainian military-patriotic game "JURA".
Also, in the city of Tetiiv and the town of Orativ, public information was carried out in the format "from house to house", during which volunteers on the streets of populated areas told people about the threat posed by mines and ammunition, which remained after active hostilities in Kyiv region.
Providing information about the threat of mines and other explosive remnants of war and teaching the rules of safe behavior are vital measures, especially in the territory of affected communities.
