World Tuberculosis Day is established by the World Health Organization, which is celebrated every year on March 24 to commemorate the fact that on this day in 1882, doctor Robert Koch discovered the causative agent of tuberculosis, the tubercle bacillus.

Case - managers of the Kyiv regional organization of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine joined the World TB Day, which this year is celebrated all over the world under the slogan #SoWeCanStopTuberculosis.

Information sessions "Prevention, diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis", "Tuberculosis is curable" were held for clients of the project "Kyiv region is free from tuberculosis: promoting recovery for everyone at any age" in Kyiv region, namely: Boyarka, Vasylkiv, Skvira, Bila Tserkva, Tarasha, Obukhiv, Yagotyn.
