Representatives of the British Red Cross got acquainted with the work of the Red Cross of Ukraine in the Kyiv region

In particular, in Buchansk and Irpin local organizations, on the basis of which humanitarian aid is issued to the population, international partners got acquainted with the specifics of the daily work of employees, and also talked with volunteers of the Red Cross of Ukraine, who are internally displaced persons and today support those in need help.

Richard Blewitt, executive director of international relations of the British Red Cross noted: "The main purpose of our visit was to see with our own eyes the problems and challenges faced by Ukrainians, and to better understand what help is needed. And although the needs are growing every day, to be honest, I am impressed by the work of my colleagues from the Red Cross of Ukraine: the volume of distribution of humanitarian aid, the pace of reconstruction of shelters for the population, etc. Today I saw many motivated very young volunteers who are internally displaced persons, and at the same time, they help others to overcome difficulties."
