Kyiv regional organization of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine transfers generators to critical objects of Kyiv region

Kyiv Regional Organization of the Ukrainian National Technical University of Ukraine helps restore critical infrastructure in the Kyiv Region. In April and May of this year, 15 powerful generators were handed over to educational, healthcare and other critical infrastructure institutions of the region.

In April, a diesel generator with a capacity of 50 kW was transferred to KP "KAGARLYKVODOKANAL" for the safe operation of this facility in the event of a power outage. A similar generator "went" to the Ivankiv Lyceum of the Ivankiv Settlement Council to ensure a continuous educational process in the educational institution, even in the absence of light.

Also, generators with a capacity of 100 kW were delivered to 2 hospitals of the region: Myronivka Support Multidisciplinary Hospital (Myronivka) and Kyiv Regional Children's Hospital in Boyarka. They will provide uninterrupted power supply to oxygen stations in hospitals in case of emergency power outages.

In May, 9 16 kW generators and 2 100 kW generators were handed over for the needs of the State Emergency Service in the Kyiv region as part of the cooperation of the Kyiv Regional Organization of the Ukrainian Technical University with the State Emergency Service. Employees of the State Emergency Service work diligently to the limit of their capabilities to restore damaged objects and dismantle debris. In connection with the extremely difficult working conditions in which the rescuers found themselves, these generators are simply necessary for them.
