In the Kyiv region, the Brovary city-district organization Ukrainian Red Cross Society held a seminar on first aid
September 14 is World First Aid Day. The Red Cross is the leading leader in the world in training the public in first aid skills.
It was on this day that the Brovary city-district organization of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine held a seminar on first aid for two foster families, specialists of the Center for Social Services for Family, Children and Youth, as well as volunteers.
Participants of the seminar received valuable knowledge on the following topics:
- which is life-threatening bleeding;
- what are the types of bleeding;
- how to provide first aid to a person with bleeding, including epistaxis;
- how to recognize internal bleeding, provide first aid and what is a shock state;
- how to help a person with a wound, a foreign body in a wound, a penetrating wound of the chest and abdominal cavity;
- first aid for bite wounds
Absolutely everyone is interested in knowledge that can be needed at any moment and save a person`s life, regardless of profession and type of activity
The program is structured in such a way that most of the training consists of practical skills that each trainee can practice using the necessary equipment, tools and mannequins.
