We care about those who are left alone

In 21 settlements, the Kyiv regional organization of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine is implementing the Care at Home project. Social assistants take care of the elderly and people with disabilities, providing them with social, household and hygienic services, thereby ensuring an improvement in the quality of life.

• deliver food and medicine;
• help with personal hygiene, changing bedclothes and underwear;
• clean up, prepare dinners;
• provide psychosocial support;
• they deliver water, firewood, etc.

Social assistants are not only a good help in everyday life, but also become close friends for lonely people.

The project is implemented with the support of the Austrian Red Cross.
