Conflict Management Workshops in Kyiv Region

A workshop on "Conflict Management" was held at the Irpin Academic Lyceum of the National University of Life Sciences of Ukraine for 11th grade students. The event was part of the implementation of the youth direction in the Kyiv region, which is being implemented with the support of the Ukrainian Red Cross and is aimed at developing skills in constructive communication, understanding emotions, and peaceful conflict resolution among adolescents.

The goal of such workshops is to help teenagers better understand the nature of conflicts, develop nonviolent communication skills, and learn to effectively resolve disputes.
During the session, students worked on the following topics:
- What is conflict;
- Aggressive communication: how to recognize it;
- Techniques of non-violent communication;
- Differences between feelings and needs;
- Active listening as a key to mutual understanding;

"Conflict Management" is a new initiative that is just beginning its implementation in the Kyiv region. Workshops have already been held in Vyshgorod and Irpin, and similar events are planned to be held in other communities in the near future.
